Hello, my name is Ariana Short, you can call me Ari if you want. I love reading, writing, horses, and hanging out with my friends and family. I play soccer for the Lebanon AYSO U19 team. I have read a lot of books and will read even more before our Lord and Savior calls me home. Some of the books I have read are the first 2 Michael Vey books, the first 4 Harry Potter books, The Hunger Games, and Wonder. I also like watching movies with my family. Some of the movies I've seen are The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Pirates of the Caribbean, The X-Men series, and both of the Avengers movies. Now a little about my family. I live with my mom and dad here in Lebanon, I have one older sister and we own three dogs, two cats and fish.So my next post is another TV show I'm obsessed with. Some of you might know this
show. It's Gilmore Girls. I am not going to be discussing the whole show cause that would take
way too long considering that there is 7 seasons. But I will be discussing the main three
boyfriends and a guy she had a stolen kiss with.
Ok so for those who don't know the show I'm am a tad bit disappointed in you but not as
much as I would be if you said you don't know Doctor Who. There are two main characters and
a whole bunch of side characters. The two main characters are Lorelai Gilmore and her
daughter whose legal name is Lorelai as well but is know as Rory.
In the first episode of season 1, Rory gets into a prestigious preparatory school called
Chilton. When she is moving her books from her locker she drops some papers and when she
bends down to pick them up she notices Dean Forester. Rory and Dean date on and off until
season 8 where she comes out of a party with an entourage of Yale male friends (we will
continue this later). Rory and Dean keep their relationship a secret from Lorelai until later in the
season where Dean and Rory share a kiss and Lorelai finds out from Mrs. Kim (Rory’s best
friend Lane’s mother). In season 1 episode 16 on Dean and Rory’s 3 month anniversary Dean
takes Rory out to dinner and then tells her he's making her a car. He also tells her that he loves
her but when she doesn't say anything back he gets mad and walks away ending get there
relationship for now.
When Rory starts at Chilton she meets a guy whose name is Tristan Dugray. Now
Tristan has liked Rory for since day one when they meet. He also has the nickname of Mary for
her, (it has to do with the whole “virgin Mary thing”, meaning he thinks she looks like a goody
goody.) Through the series Rory gets angry with Tristan because he calls her Mary. She also
doesn't like the bad boy attitude, the fact he does't care about classes and that he is constantly
flirting with her even when she is dating Dean. In season 1 episode 17 Tristan gets dumped by
his girlfriend Summer and is heartbroken. Rory later finds him in a ballroom playing the piano.
She apologizes about Summer and when he says he doesn't want to talk about it she changes
the subject to biology. He then asks her where Dean is and she explains that he wasn't her
boyfriend anymore, which he then asks why not?, she replies with “he didn't want to be” he then
calls him an idiot. And asks if they were going to get back together where she says no. They
then share a kiss and Rory leaves because she misses Dean. When Lorelai gets home she
finds Rory on the couch with ice cream crying. Rory then starts to wallow over Dean.
Later in the series Rory and Dean get back together only to break up at the town dance
marathon. Dean dumps Rory because he does't like the way jess, Luke's nephew, is always
flirting with Rory and how she has encouraged this flirting. Jess and Rory have a good
relationship until he leave for California to live with his dad.
After Jess Dean and Rory get back together yet again a day stay together until Rory
goes to Yale. Rory’s grandparents throw her a party inviting the Yale alumni. Or just the ones
with sons. During the party she meets up with Logan who rescued Rory when she was
cornered. Logan of course has his two best friends Finn and Colin who are there as well and
they form a sub-party in the pool house. Rory losses track of time and comes out from the party,
followed by logan and the group, too find Dean (who was picking up Rory for a date). He looks
at the group and realizes that he doesn't fit into her life anything, leaving Rory in the arms of her
friends.
When Rory’s grandparents renew their wedding vows Rory asks Logan to dance and
tells him how she feels. Which he calls her Rory (instead of “Ace” which he nicknamed her
because she wants to be a journalist) and explains to her that she is girlfriend material but he is
not boyfriend material. Rory, who instead of not seeing him chooses to casually date Logan.
Rory later decides that she doesn't want a casual relationship with Logan and goes to end the
relationship but stay friends. Logan rather than lose Rory agrees to be her boyfriend. Their
relationship is good and strong. Her grandparents find Logan a very suitable match for Rory and
Lorelai grows to like him. The second to last episode of season seven Logan proposes to Rory
where she declines because they are just out of college and because she got a job as a
journalist in Oregon.
